Inaugural Day of Service
The Biden Inaugural Committee and the Democratic State Committee are asking people to do a day of service in honor of the inauguration and they suggest collecting food for a local food bank. In Groton, some of us are involved in the Neighborhood Food Project that collects groceries every other month for Loaves and Fishes. The next collection date is Feb. 13. I realize that is a few weeks after Inauguration Day, but if you would like to participate just once in honor of the Inauguration, email me personally at Jennifer_Mieth@yahoo.com.
