Groton Democrats to Caucus June 26, Will Elect Delegates to State Convention

Groton Democrats will hold a virtual caucus at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 26, 2021 by Zoom, to elect six delegates and four alternates to the 2021 Massachusetts Democratic State Convention. This year’s hybrid convention will be held Sept. 25 at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell, to adopt a Party platform.

Young People Encouraged to Participate

The caucus is open to all registered and pre-registered Democrats in Groton. Pre-registered Democrats who will be age 16 by June 15, 2021 will be allowed to participate and to run for delegate/alternate. Youth (>35), minorities, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ individuals who are not elected as a delegate/alternate may apply to be an add-on delegate at the caucus or at www.mass.dems.org.
