Interested in Joining the Groton Democratic Town Committee?

The Groton Democratic Town Committee will hold its monthly meeting on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 4 p.m. at Legion Hall. The committee is elected at the Presidential Primary every four years. The deadline is fast approaching to sign submit our nomination papers in order to appear on the ballot. We have many openings because when a member has served 20 years, they do not have to run for re-election in order to remain an active member of the committee. Perhpas you're not looking for a monthly meeting to attend, but you do other things to help elect democrats? We need you. People who hold signs, go canvassing door-to-door to identify supporters or hand out literature, people who write checks and letters-to-the-editor, who will help with events (like Candidates' Night or our Evironmental Forum on Nov. 24) or make get out the vote calls, all do vital tasks that help get candidates elected. Please stop by between 4 and 6 to sign the nomination papers (even if you can't stay for the meeting) or contact the chair at GrtonDTC@gmail.com to make arrangements to meet up this week. You must be 18 or older and registered to vote as Democat in Groton.
