30 New Voters Registered at Groton-Dunstable High School

Congratulations to the Groton Board of Registrars for registering 30 new voters last Friday at the Groton-Dunstable Regional High School. Our committee had formally asked the Registrars to do a voter registration table there and it was staffed by the Republican registrar and the two Democratic registrars, Jane Frey and Sally Hensley, and GDTC member Michelle Collette. Some of those new voters are pre-registered 17 year olds, ready for the September elections. If you know of any youngsters who will be 18 by that election, encourage them to pre-register to vote.

Any pre-registered Democrats will be eligible to participate in the Democratic Caucus on Feb. 25 to elect delegates (or run for delegate) to the statewide nomination convention in June. Only candidates who get 15% of the vote at the convention will appear on the Primary ballot in September.
