The Groton Democratic Town Committee will hold its reorganizational meeting on Sunday, March 29, 2020 at 4 p.m. using Zoom. It will be a virtual meeting. Members should have received the log on information by email. If not, please contact

State law requires the committee to hold an organizational meeting after the Presidential Primary to re-organize and elect officers. That is the main agenda for the meeting.

March 3 is the Presidential Primary. 

Each Groton precinct will have its own polling pace:

#1 - The Groton Center on West Main Street

#2 - The Country Club

#3 - Town Hall

At our last meeting we decided to try to cover all 3 polling locations  from 7-9 am and 4-6 pm

Early Voting for Massachusetts elections is enabled in a statute passed in 2015.

There will be Early Voting for

Monday, February 24, 8AM to 7PM

Tuesday, February 25, 8AM to 4PM

Wednesday, February 26, 8AM to 4PM

Thursday, February 27, 8AM to 7PM

Friday, February 28, 8AM to 1PM

Early Voting will take place at Town Hall, 173 Main Street, Groton.

Groton Democrats will hold a caucus at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Groton Town Hall, 173 Main Street, to elect six delegates and four alternates to the 2020 Massachusetts Democratic State Convention. This year’s convention will be held May 30 at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell, to endorse a candidate for U.S. Senate.

The next meeting of the Groton Democratic Town Committee will be Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 4-6 p.m. We will have a representative of the Markey for US Senate campaign.

The next meeting of the Groton Democratic Town Committee will be Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 4 p.m. at Legion Hall, 75 Hollist Street. We will be setting the schedule for 2020 and looking at all the exciting election events that will take place. We also will have two representatives from two U.S. Senate campaigns stopping by.
